Donna Soaries is the founder of Mothers Determined To Pray. “Prayer has been at the core of my faith and sustains me throughout my journey as a mother.  In 2009, when my twin sons left for college, my passion for prayer was ignited into a ministry designed to pray for mothers and their children which was born out of my need for prayer as a mother.”

 

Mothers Determined To Pray Prayer Conference Call was created for mothers to participate in prayer by calling in on Saturday mornings for 15 minutes to pray. Mothers can submit a prayer request on our website, and know that other mothers will be praying for them.  Mothers from around the world have joined the call every Saturday to pray for over a decade.

 

 As host of the Mothers Determined To Pray Prayer Conference Call, I am supported by a circle of friends whom I call, The Mothers Council, consisting of six mothers who recognize the power of prayer and volunteer as a team to pray and monitor the call each Saturday.

 

Mothers Determined To Pray presented a unique virtual opportunity which debuted in 2020 to hear the testimonies of famous mothers in a series entitled, “When Mothers Pray” airing on YouTube. Celebrity mothers who were interviewed by Donna Soaries included Lucille O’Neal, mother of Shaquille O’Neal; Rose Rock, mother of comedian Chris Rock; Tisha Campbell, actress and singer, as well as Delores Winans, mother of the world-renown, Winans Family gospel group. All the mothers shared powerful testimonies and emphasized how much they relied on prayer to navigate life in the public eye and throughout their lives.

 

Mothers Determined To Pray acknowledges and is a resource for testimonies and praise reports from mothers whose prayers have been answered regarding health and spiritual healing, court case leniency, acceptance into colleges and universities, job offers, and lives being changed…evidence that prayer works!!
